On the afternoon of October 18, a group of teachers, parents and students from Thai Phien High School (Hai Phong) had a university experience session at Hanoi Polytechnic. The purpose of the program is to provide information about professions and training fields as well as create opportunities for students to experience a university education environment; At the same time, advise and assist students in choosing and preparing the best path for their study and career development.
Dang Thi Thu Van, Math teacher at Thai Phien High School, is the person who proposed Thai Phien School to participate in the university experience program at Hanoi Polytechnic. “In a career orientation session, students participated in learning about professions and universities in Vietnam. I realize that the number of students who love Hanoi Polytechnic is very large. From what the students learn, I hope to organize a practical experience so they can clearly see their dreams."

Hanoi Polytechnic is a large interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary university in Vietnam. “Fortunately, Hanoi Polytechnic trains both Engineering and Economics majors, so the experience will help students somewhat orient and understand more about the majors according to their interests,” Ms. Van said that career guidance is also an important purpose of today's session so that students can make the right choice of major that suits each individual's interests and strengths.
“For natural science students, I always affirm that Polytechnic is the leading university in engineering. I build and nurture their dreams early on so they can strive to enter school. Today, I am also very touched when many former students of Thai Phien who are currently studying at Hanoi Polytechnic proactively contacted and helped the Doan," Ms. Van said, saying that these Hanoi Polytechnic students had also helped. At the experience session, about 100 11th grade students of Thai Phien High School were divided into 2 tour groups: group 1 visited activities related to the Socio-Economy sector and group 2 visited the laboratories of Engineering sector.

Male student Vu Viet Hoang, an 11th grade student at Thai Phien High School, fulfilled his wish when visiting Hanoi Polytechnic: "I always wanted to become a new student in the Aeronautical Engineering major of Polytechnic because I have a passion for it." with airplanes since childhood. Hoang's close friend, student Dang Quoc Khanh, said: "After the experience, I learned more about the training programs, schools and institutes of Hanoi Polytechnic. Nguyen Thi Minh Trang, student of Class 11A13 at Thai Phien High School, is a female student who wants to study economics. Even so, Trang still chose to visit technical laboratories to expand her knowledge and have a more comprehensive view of the training programs at Hanoi Polytechnic.
“What impresses me most is the enthusiasm along with the qualifications and in-depth knowledge of Hanoi Polytechnic students. I never imagined I would be learning with modern machines and robots if it weren't for today's experience,” Trang excitedly shared.
Parent Tran Thi Thu Huong, whose child is in grade 11, also joined the group to visit the school to get a clearer view of the life and campus of the school that her son will most likely attend after graduating from high school. Ms. Huong's son likes to study Information Technology and wants to major in this major at Hanoi Polytechnic. “The staff, lecturers and volunteers are all very respectful and friendly. Thai Phien High School is the first experience program to be implemented in the new school year 2022-2023. In this school year alone, there are 41 students graduating from Thai Phien High School studying at Hanoi Polytechnic.
