Candidates registering for admission to training programs of Hanoi University of Science and Technology in the 2022 admission year must meet the following conditions:

1. Test score conditions:

- For the Thinking Assessment test score (ĐGTD): Achieve the common floor score for all 3 admission combinations including K00 (calculated and converted to a 30-point scale); K01 and K02 are 14.0 points.
- For high school graduation exam scores: Achieve the common specified floor score for all 9 admission combinations including A00, A01, A02, B00, D01, D07, D26, D28 and D29 which is 23 points.

2. Academic qualifications are based on academic results recorded in high school transcripts:

- For candidates using the results of the GTTD exam: The total score of 6 semesters for each subject in the subject combination is 42.0 or higher. Candidates can choose 1 of 5 subject combinations: Mathematics - Physics - Chemistry; Mathematics-Chemistry-Biology; Math-Physics-Foreign Languages; Mathematics-Chemistry-Foreign Languages; Math-Literature-Foreign Language.
- For candidates using the results of the high school graduation exam: The total score of 6 semesters for each subject in the combination of admission subjects is 42.0 or higher.

For example: Nguyen Van X chose to consider the combination A00 (Math-Physics-Chemistry)

Total score of 6 semesters of Mathematics is: 8 + 6 + 7 + 8 + 8 + 9 = 46 points ≥ 42 → Eligible for studying in Mathematics

The total score of 6 semesters of Physics is: 7 + 6 + 7 + 7 + 7 + 7 = 41 points ≥ 41 → Not eligible to study for Physics

Total score of 6 semesters of Chemistry is: 7 + 7 + 7 + 7 + 7 + 7 = 42 points ≥ 42 → Eligible for studying Chemistry

Conclude:

Although Math has a 6-point semester, other semesters increase and the total score of ≥ 42 is still considered valid.

Physics does not meet the academic qualifications because the total score of 6 semesters is less than 42 (average score of Physics is less than 7.0).

So Nguyen Van X does not meet the academic qualifications to apply for admission to Hanoi University of Science and Technology.

The national high school entrance exam score is sufficient but the academic requirements are not met (as in the example above), then student academic performance of candidates.
