Criteria - Regular university admission code in 2020

I. METHOD OF RECRUITMENT

1. Talent recruitment:

The school will select from 10% to 15% of the enrollment target, including:

1.1. Direct admission according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training (for candidates participating in the exam to select the National team for the International Olympics, winning the official prize in the exam to select excellent students at the National High School level or the National Science and Technology Competition , International).

1.2. Direct admission for candidates with A-Level, SAT, ACT certificates meeting the quality assurance threshold according to the School's regulations.

1.3. Recruitment of talent based on capacity profile, interview Subjects:

a. Provincial/City level team

b. Provincial/City Award (First – Second – Third)

c. Provincial/city level science and technology team

d. Specialized high school system (add application pre-qualification conditions - ensure the school's prescribed threshold)

e. Participate in the monthly Olympia competition

f. IELTS 6.0 + (considered for admission to the English language major, academic transcript requirements ensure the school's prescribed threshold)

2. Admission is based on the results of the high school graduation exam according to traditional combinations with a ratio of 50% to 60% of the total enrollment target.

3. Combined admission in the form of High School TN Test Score and Thinking Test, expected to take from 30% to 35% of the school's enrollment target.

- Preliminary application conditions: Average score of 6 semesters of each high school subject in the pre-qualification combination is 7.0 or higher (for candidates graduating in 2020, only 5 semesters to the end of 1 class are counted. 12, scores from each period can offset each other, but the overall average must be 7.0 or higher). And so the total average score of the 3 subjects in the admission combination must be above 21.00. Candidates who meet the pre-qualification requirements will receive a notification to take the exam.

Candidates register to choose major/program, admission code and select the corresponding combination (A19, A20) on the same exam registration and university admission form issued by the Ministry of Education and Training.

Note: according to this form, the admission code has the ending "x". For example:

1.  NV1 – Electronics and telecommunications – ET1 – Complex A00

2.  NV2 – Electronics and telecommunications – ET1x – A19 complex

3.  NV3 – Chemical Engineering – CH1 – Combination A01

4.  NV4 – Chemical Engineering – CH1x – Combination A20

II. CRITERIA, ADMISSION CODE AND ADMISSION COMBINED

Admission codes for majors/training programs, admission subject combinations and regular university admission criteria in 2020 are as follows:

Note:

1. The admission combinations in bold in Table 3 have main subjects (multiplied by coefficient 2) as follows:

• Combinations A00, A01, A02, B00, D07, D26, D28, D29 bold: Math is the main subject;
• Combination D01 bold: English is the main subject; - Combination A19, A20 in bold: KTTD is the main subject.

2. ELITECH programs have admission code symbol  XX-E# (for example ME-E1, TE-E2...)

3. International training programs have serial numbers from 49 to 57, the admission code contains the abbreviation of the name of the foreign partner university.
