What do you need to prepare to register for talent admission in 2023

Talented candidates for admission to Hanoi University of Science and Technology still include 03 subjects, referred to as categories: 1.1, 1.2, 1.3. To register for admission to these categories, what do candidates need to prepare?

Category 1.1: Direct admission of candidates who win prizes in HSG Exams, National and International Science and Technology Competitions according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.

1/ Photo of ID card or ID card

2/ Photo of Certificate of winning prizes in National/International HSG exams

Note:

- Candidates can register up to 03 wishes in order of priority

- Candidates can use the award in grades 10, 11, 12

- If candidates have multiple awards, choose the highest award to register for direct admission

- Candidates participating in the 2023 National HSG Exam, if they do not yet have a Certificate of Award, can use the Award Recognition Decision as proof. When they have the original Certificate of Merit, they must additionally submit it.

Category 1.2: Direct admission of candidates with international certificates: SAT, ACT, A-Level, AP, IB

1/ Photo of ID card or ID card

2/ Photo of Transcript or Transcript from Semester I of Grade 10 to the end of Semester I of Grade 12

3/ Photo of certificate used for direct admission

Note: 

- Candidates can register up to 03 wishes in order of priority

- Proof of Transcript or Transcript must be an original photo

- Candidates who do not have ID card or ID card must use Personal Identification Code

Category 1.3: Direct admission based on competency profile combined with interview

1/ Photo of ID card or ID card

2/ Photo of Transcript or Transcript from Semester I of Grade 10 to the end of Semester I of Grade 12

3/ 01 letter introducing yourself

4/ 02 letters of recommendation from teachers

5/ Proof of calculating achievement points: include at least 01 of the following documents:

- Certificate of participation in the National Student Exam organized by the Ministry of Education and Training or Certificate of winning First, Second, Third, Fourth/Encouragement prizes in the Provincial/City Level Student Selection Exam organized by the Department of Education and Training (or equivalent by Universities) organized by national and regional universities) subjects of Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Information Technology, Foreign Languages, and Combinations during high school;

- Certificate of participation in the National Science and Technology Competition organized by the Ministry of Education and Training;

- Certificate of participation in the Road to Olympia competition organized by Vietnam Television from monthly rounds or more;

- IELTS (Academic) certificate of 6.0 or higher (or other equivalent English certificate) to register for admission into the English Language and Economics - Management majors;

- Specialized students (including Math, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Informatics, Foreign Language) of specialized high schools and high schools nationwide, specialized classes, specialized systems of universities and national universities, Regional university

6/ Proof of bonus point calculation: includes at least 01 of the following documents:

- Certificate of achievement in student selection exams at Provincial/City level or higher and has not been used to calculate achievement points

- Certificate of achievement in academic competitions, scientific research, STEM,... from Provincial/City level and above

- Certificate of winning prizes in cultural, arts, physical education, sports competitions, ... from Provincial/City level and above

- GCN participates in movement and volunteer activities for the community at all levels (from unit level to national level)

Note: 

- Candidates can register a maximum of 02 wishes in order of priority

- Proof of academic transcripts, transcripts, or achievements must be original photos

- Candidates who do not have ID card or ID card must use Personal Identification Code

- The teacher's recommendation letter and the candidate's self-introduction letter can be handwritten or typed. Teachers can be homeroom teachers, teachers teaching subjects at the high school level, or teachers teaching teams to candidates.

• From March 30: Open registration for category 1.1
• From March 30 to May 15: Open registration for categories 1.2 and 1.3
• From May 30 to June 20: Interview candidates with category 1.3
• June 30: Announcement of talent recruitment results
